About Me
I'm Sophia: a product designer and frontend developer with a background in electrical & biomedical engineering. I've worked across different roles in tech for 9 years, primarily for purpose-led organisations. Now I lead the design of software to help traffic engineers manage traffic controllers on the road.
In my work, I bring a passionate drive to unearth the best possible solutions within the constraints I'm given. I also believe my biggest strength is my abundant curiosity and my willingness to experiment with new skills, listen to different perspectives, and tackle those oddly-shaped problems without a rulebook.
I advocate for thoughtful, trustworthy design solutions and frequent, transparent communication - allowing me to work in alignment with my clients, my developers, and key internal stakeholders. I care deeply about recognising and connecting with the people who use what we build, and strive to make their experience as usable and helpful as possible.
